Welcome to Chestnut Hill Goats!
I am Melvin Stoltzfus. I live in Northwestern Pennsylvania where I enjoy milking my goats and the companionship they provide. I also enjoy researching milk goat potential. Mostly it involves uncovering the work that has already been done by other pioneers. I have working homestead goats and I want to breed and think about a better animal to serve the current generation. My blog is not going to be a concise and organized collection of thoughts. It will be closer to a hodge podge of polemics and reactions to the show and dairy goat industry as I observe it to be today as well as a directed focus on thinking about goats as I need them to be for me.
Here are the blog posts below ordered from the youngest at the top to the oldest at the bottom. This way it is easy to see if you missed anything recently.
